Very unusual release note today. Today all three of our software products are receiving a “+.1” release on their build number. Because all three underwent the same small update:
A bug in our logging library, specifically affecting the
syslogtarget, has been identified and fixed; now a stuck syslog server can no longer cause resource channel lock-up in your Syncplify software.
As always, you can download the most recent release from our website, or if you’re running Server! v8.4.0+ or R2FS! v3.0.0+ you may (more easily) self-install this update with the push of a single button in the web UI.
