Following up on last week’s post about upgrading Syncplify Server from version 6 to version 7 on Linux, today we’re demonstrating just how straightforward the upgrade process is on Windows.
The video below shows the upgrade process from a fully functional v6 installation (with an active virtual site and a valid maintenance-covered license) to v7 in just a few clicks. No manual steps, no reconfiguration, near-zero downtime.
Simply run the installer, accept the license, and let it handle everything automatically. Once complete, a browser refresh is all it takes to start using v7, with your settings and license already in place.
